I recently had a short stay in an interesting city in Japan and booked a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The hotel provided great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail that made my stay comfortable. The hotel's location in the centre of the city was perfect, making it easy for me to explore Kagoshima. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The rooms were well-maintained and had basic amenities, including a handy mini-fridge. I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet that offered a variety of Japanese and American style foods. One thing I appreciated was the option for a small, comfy unit bath in my room, just like other guests have mentioned in their reviews.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Kagoshima. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist me when I lost my wallet. They even made phone calls to help me locate it! Additionally, the hotel organized a wonderful New Year's Day celebration with Mochi making and shochu tasting, as well as a captivating Koto performance. The location was also great, with the main train station just a 20-minute walk away.

The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to the main shopping and nightlife district. the room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. the breakfast buffet was enjoyable, offering Japanese and American style foods.
The air conditioning lacked temperature control, only offering an option for either on or off. the step up from the main room to the bathroom was high and could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

Great view of the live volcano and outstanding French customer service. The hotel offered a nice public bath. It's situated in a fun town with an excellent harbour and shopping district, and the location is quiet enough.
The room was quite old-fashioned, rather small, and the walls were thin. We could easily hear the guests next door.
